details: my darling camel had her birthday...a week ago; well, actually we were supposed to have a nice celebration dinner at this tapas restaurant (side note: there was a little pronunciation confusion on this at first, and we mistakenly assumed she wanted to have her shindig at a "topless" place). instead, she decided to go to miami and i decided to get a cold. fortunately some construction paper and glue, and some dayquil were just the trick for my ails. and look here, a homemade picture-book card and a poem!
